Even better than I thought!!!!!!!!!

What’s next @Lee i know you have another mistress called Porsche but do you have your eye on another Z?

You do know it's on it's last legs after being thrashed with an inch of it's life around Scotland.... well that's what I heard......
Its was driven around Scotland very carefully by a young lady  I have video to prove it

You have a great Coupe there @Rha I've had a few drives in it and it is great, best sounding Zed on the road too. Enjoy :thumbsup:

We have Sam's Z3 which I want to do a few more bits to.

He's sold the Porsche as well I think

Yeah sold the porsche aswell, tried to use it but just couldn't bond with it.

I've actually bought myself an E36, using it as a run around for the moment while my Audi is being Mot'ed. Found myself a big spec 328i I won't hijack Roy's thread :)

You won’t be highjacking Lee it’s about dried up so feel free while you got all the totally mad Z’ers on here, including myself. Do it:thumbsup: it befits the your/my Z4 coupe e86.

Roy.;)

It's nothing exciting, I'm still weighing it up before I fully commit to starting another build.

Unfortunately so far not boding well for the E36, I've already had some hash DIY jobs to fix.

Must say, I do like the Z4 coupe and that is a very nice one,but as the zed is my summer car I would miss the top down experience. It's just the wind blowing through all my hair that makes it for me !

Agree.
I think the coupe is what you buy for when you go bald? :bag:
(A woolly hat would be cheaper though).

If I'm brutally honest I would love a Coupe for the winter and a soft top for the summer. The Coupe is so quiet (inside;)) and civilised (usually) but I do like the top down motoring the roadster offers. The best of both worlds is a hard top but basically I'm a lazy toad and wouldn't be bothered to keep putting In and off.

Tony.

quiet and civilised are not the words I used when that particular coupe came past me in a tunnel...=))
I’m sure Roy will do it justice

Oh dear...
On the bright side could make the base for a stripped out road legal track car?

Hence the word USUALLY Dino, I'm sure that boy racer will do it proud. And I'm waiting for it to arrive on my drive for a try:thumbsup:

When I bought my Z3 the hardtop did not come off for the first few years, mostly due to non existent summers and the fact that living almost in the center of town, no garage.
When my boss borrowed the car from time to time in the summer, it did come off and got stored in the workshop but I was not very happy with that arrangement as it was stuck up, uncovered, in a rack on a pallet by fork lift.
Also it was a Wiesmann with the larger rear window and I have never seen another one.

When I eventually sold the car a couple of years ago, due to problems with my eyesight at the time, I sold the hardtop and fitting kit separately for a very pretty penny or two .... :)

Will I strip it down to it's bare essentials for road and track, naaar it's too good looking for that, will make some very subtle changes and you'll have to look hard to see them, me thinks. Lee's done so much work I'll be hard pushed to make it better (handling wise) so apart from steering wheel to Jack, the huge spoiler on the boot, (and maybe one on the bonnet if it's quick enough in reverse) I'll be very happy to leave her well alone. Exhaust will have to be muted but am looking at one of these valves.(to use when appropriate, cos I just love the sound at the moment)Think Lee has already gone down/looked at this road so will be asking him for advise, and not just for this either.
Sitting here chomping at the bit cos I still haven't collected her from Lee's.

Roy.
