Me ant missus, along with Mozza and Andrea met Sunday to put the final route together for our trip in June. All accomodation has been booked and were ready to go. Will have to wait a while though :(

Was just looking at the route and noticed it didnt take in any of the Passes. Unless i was been a bit fick :)

Takes in the High Alps Route, Stelvio Pass.+ any exploring that we do from Garda. Only so much mountains I can stomach.

IMHO - you are seriously missing out by not stopping, the hospitality and quality is 2nd to none. Our 1st Europe trip was based around a road and a town in Austria and wish we could have stayed more than 1 night there, but our itinery was tight.

The roads around the Grossglockner are superb... :nearmiss)

IMHO - you are seriously missing out by not stopping, the hospitality and quality is 2nd to none. Our 1st Europe trip was based around a road and a town in Austria and wish we could have stayed more than 1 night there, but our itinery was tight.

Just one thing Jim, i would stay at Berck Sur Mer instead of Calais, its only about 40 mins away and isnt just a Ferry Port.
Just a thought mate.

Good point Bill, we will be booking this stop on the day, so Calais was just a finishing point.
 
There is a Mister Bed just on hte outskirts of Berck, cheap hotel but clean and they was building a restaraunt just of the car park, its also right next to a small retail park, its on the grade of a Travelodge and there are some nice cake shops in Berck with the biggest Meringues you have seen :)

Yes I have used that mister bed & agree its cheap & clean. Just make sure if you get there late you eat first as they dont serve food
 
When we wasthere last may they were in the process of building a restaraunt just on the edge of thier car park
