Euro Cruise Update

Got a txt off Mozza on Thursday and they were at Millau ready for there return journey back home. Should arrive in England sometime today.

Not quite buddy,
Arrived,back home 10-45 last night,got to calais around 4pm yesterday after a 350ml cruise thro france,and thought sod it,jumped on the tunnel train,the next 320ml home made me realise how good the european roads are,our roads in general are sh***.
Had a great couple of weeks with Jim/Lena,and a good few laughs along the way.
Mrs Mozzerella (Jims new name for her) got a bit giddy when we were cruzing down the outobahn @ 140mph,had to back off though, some inconsiderate sod pulled out into MY fast lane
At the start of our trip approaching the Dartford crossing,Jim manage to fire a stone up from his rear wheel,result a 50mm ish round crack,new screen needed now Luckily it is out of my eyeline .Apart from that only other was the red warning lites comming on indicating a tyre problem,Jim put this down to tyres overheating,
Weatherwise we had snow (stelvio)a few rain showers and then 32deg of spanish/french sunshine,even briefly considered putting the roof up and air con on .
Anyone thinking of doind a trip abroad in their Zeds. DO IT. ITS GREAT.

Sure are,but it looks like we missed most of the rain ,got a wheelbarrow out back ,which is now full to the top with water ,must be 300mm deep :ub) .

Think it was some kind of groundhog,there were quite a few of them halfway up the approach to the stevia,must love the cool mountain air,and the sound of a roaring exhaust

Just trotted up and done3560mls av 32.1mpg not bad for a 3ltr auto,and we weren't hangin around,fuel cost £723',Italy was the dearest 1.8 --1.95 e per ltr.ouch. Av seemed to be about 1.7 e ltr still got half tank left

No chance. Saving up for the trip around Italy and then saving up for a new shape Boxster.

Could be tempted by a Z4M but the running costs look eyewatering compared to a Boxster,
