We used to Fly all over but since we started doing this we will now only Fly if its no more than 4hrs maximum. Just love the Flexibility of what a driving holiday gives you.
Unfortunately 4 hrs flying time restricts us to NA! 8hrs minimum to get anywhere we'd like to go and usually a 12-16 hr flight is involved to get anywhere we're interested in. You are fortunate to be able to fly or drive to those places. I prefer the drive, you get to see so much more and meet such interesting people! JIM
Yes, Billz, having also enjoyed driving holidays on the continent for the last twenty years, we wouldn't swap the adventure of the open road for any other form of transport!
