At the moment the Tunnel is working out less than that .. split between two it comes down really cheap.. The hotel at £131 for two nights is great value and is in keeping with the budget I was hoping for. If I can get the tunnel even cheaper it will be a real bonus.. To get the numbers up on the crossing I have asked the BMW Car Club UK to see if any of the other Zeds wish to join us too. See what we can sort. @DutchScorpion what would be max numbers ?

Haha, I already warned them.
But there are enough hotels there, it is a very touristic area

Hi, I think a maximum of +15 cars?
With the dutch cars included we will get some 50-55 cars
Most cars were with 2 persons this year, so including you british I will get to my max. for my lucnch location.

I will make a "Limborit 2016" topic in febr or march also on zroadster.org
so you can sign up for this tour officially, I also post then my bankaccount.
the costs will be max. 30€ per person for start with drinks / cake - lunch - surprise
and a max. of 60€ per person for the above including dinner.

@pgunter - The Mints are booked in the same hotel as the rest of you guys in Slenaken. Unfortunately no balcony rooms left:(, but we're not paying as much as you:). Looking good so far.
 
Just checked the Hotel and 4 twin rooms still available for anyone else who wants to book

Let us know where you intend to book in for the Friday night. I just looked at the Premiere inn near the tunnel
on Booking.com and they don't have any vacancies left, but if you go to the Premiere they are asking £88 a night
flexible so could be cancelled day before. There are other options in Folkstone though cheaper!!

Haven't sorted that yet although we will be looking for two rooms as travelling down with the mints. Cheaper is better for us. I'll speak with the mints and get back to you.
 
We've just booked the hotel, the Slakedon in Monte Carlo, hope we're somewhere near by!!!??? Anybody know how we're crossing the channel???

Ok Folks.. Quick one message answers all.

@GazHyde It all depends upon numbers and hotels. As its you.. and if a space is still available.. as near as you dare leave it. Obviously the sooner the better. Remember the hotel is not paid until nearer the date.. it is just reserved.

Hotel nearer the channel tunnel ... Well I am looking at the Holiday Inn as a BMW OC CC member i get discounts at IHG hotels. So worth a pop. lol.

@EnthuZiaZT I am chasing the Euro Tunnel crowd. they have promised me a response to my request for a car club discounted booking by Friday. They offer a service for car clubs of discounted travel and getting you on the same train. They also sort out a smooth crossing with the passport and customs guys. So worth trying to get us registered and sorted with a discounted price.

@Grumpy I can try and swing a discount for you as well on the Friday evening if you want me too. If I do how many would like me to try and get discounted rooms for them ? Numbers please for the Friday night.
