P & O I need to speak to the office on Monday. As for Euro Chunnel ... http://www.eurotunnel.com/uk/tickets/group-bookings/

We shall see. Let's hope we can get a good turn out. It will be on a budget so everybody can come along. I was thinking of up to £120 max on the tunnel and £60/70 per room. Fri, Sat and Sunday. Should be possible and hopefully even cheaper at group rates. As long as people don't mind local hotels.

So even working on those it's going to be around £300 ish max plus fuel. So @MAURICE THE MARTIAN you might have to practice economical (Look it up lol) driving techniques =))=))=))

How do people feel about costs ? What sort of budget do you feel is acceptable ?

Yeah that's good with me Paul, being a poor lorry driver we need to watch the pennies. :thumbsup:

I can do boring economic driving, did it once, didnt like it, but achieved 37 mpg
 
@Grumpy What you actually mean is @jue1 is going to Dubai, you are going as the bag man...

Just a pity the motorail services don't operate over here like they do in Germany and France. Could all jump on the train in say West of London and get dropped off in southern Holland the following morning.. one can dream.

Looks like we'll have to drive it, oh well here's someone that really doesn't mind, only problem is, I got ahead of myself and asked the wife if Sept was ok and got a YES but now I'm going to have to grovel all over again for June and again if it's July. The things I do just to get behind the wheel of my Z. (I feel a halo coming on) if things aren't sorted soon I'll probably be welcomed into the Grumpy fold and have to get a sticker," oh please God no" Question is; How many shopping trips make a Euro Trip ??? and to think I already had a Sept Yes. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. HELP!!!!!!!:banghead:---------------------spose I could always RUN away( drive away) just spent a week laying new floor neglecting my Z, and to think I kept her waiting 35 yrs for this floor, not sure I can wait that long for another Euro trip besides that'll make me 102, "narrrr the Z'll be too old".=))
 
@Rha You need to think how much horse S*** @Grumpy will have to shovel to get his pass for this one.. =))=))

No no its all good here! Mrs grumps is up for the trip so no need to grovel!!! Unlucky Roy! And Mrs grumpy can't stand shopping so double bullseye for me! :D
 
The Tunnel is usually around £80 each way so lets hope you can get it cheaper. The earlier we have an exact date the better. Kim has to try and grovel at work lol. Dont know what car we will be in though
 
I shot this one past the other / better half when Sept was mentioned and got a tentative OK, so in my book that constitutes that Ihave the Pink Slip signed off;) if it's now been brought forwards I will have to double check and see if the Pink Slip is still valid? Some dates would be useful, but for numbers tentatively count me in, and as usual at this stage I will be on my lonesome.:thumbsup:

If the seats empty jump in !! HT, my wife is not interested in zedding but it may change being a euro trip. I will keep you posted once we have dates and it gets firmed up by @pgunter:thumbsup:
