Euro 2016 Cruise Cancelled

Just going back to the Lake Como comments and the not so good reports. I'm planing to take my Mrs in our Z3 roadie may be next year down to the Italian Lakes, so is it just Como that was disappointing or all that area? Interested to here yours thoughts. Cheers Pete

Lake Como itself is stunning just do not visit Como that is the S--t hole. But be aware that it is very narrow in places trying to drive around the Lake.

Its nice at Lake Brianze (Think thats how you spell it) and also around The Silva Planner which is on the way to Saint Moritz

Hi @billz, sorry but we will not be coming on this trip now as we are committed to two Euro trips in the Z3 and our camping trip in the 4x4. Will see you on a meet in 2016 before the Dutch Euro cruise

Sorry missed your original comments and just catching up. Lake Garda is worth a visit especially, Sirmione and Bardolino, but would strongly advise that you avoid the south end of the lake where Gardaland is situated. It's a huge, and totally out of place theme park, and the traffic for it totally clogs the local roads.

Hi jonco, thanks for that info. I will definately avoid the southern end whenever we go down there, and will do a lot of further investigation on the whole area. Pete
