need some help, I know I have the errors and the codes and could change the parts, the warning lights only come on sometimes so I think its maybe had the errors for quite some time.... maybe years  Is there a chance there is a bad earth? if so where? reason I ask is because I have already cleaned a couple of rusty earth points anyway i'll show you the codes and see if you can help :)

5E21 pressure sen2
5E43 steering angle sen, internal
5Df4 system voltage <9 volts
5E20 pressure sen1
5E24 pressure sen

I cleared the faults and they came back but with no error lights, they come on randomly :)

cheers guys and gals :)

It's very possible that ground is your problem considering you've found several already. If you have the patience track them all down and clean them. Don't forget the main grounds at the battery and any other body grounds there may be. Remember that electricity no matter what kind travels to it's final resting place at the ground so even momentary breaks can set up failures. HTH JIM

I am assuming you have DSC traction control, if so the above faults are relating to the DSC system

The DSC has
2 pressure sensors on the brake master cylinder
1 steering angle sensor
4 wheel speed sensors
1 control unit independent of the ABS
1 yaw sensor under passenger carpet
1 rotational sensor also under the passenger carpet

The DSC system works on different voltages hence the fault code referring to 9v
Check the earth adjacent to the air filter box and behind the left hand footwell speaker box.

Have you checked the carpets are dry on the passenger side they may feel dry on top but need to check undeneath as there is 1.5" foam there to collect water.

If you haven't got DSC ignore the above.

How old is the battery? i would put a multimeter across it ignition off and engine started, you need above 11v static and above 14v running if it's less than 11 static battery is knackered, if running is less than 14 could be alternator.

Low batteries on these cars does all sorts weird to electrics.

I'll agree with that.

I had a Range Rover with weeks of fault codes, limp home modes and gearbox faults.

New battery fixed the lot!
