Well after @GazHyde suggestion I had a look behind the clock regarding it and OBC not working and then checked fuses. I must have put one back in the wrong place as there was a spare slot. Anyway the car wouldn't start. I have now proved fuse 45 has to be in.
Can anyone with faceift M54 take a photo of the fusebox as I had a full set of spares in the lid and now am one missing so I want to know which one shouldn't/needn't be there.
