On Saturday I was taking my 97 z3 2.8 auto for a spin to southport and on the return journey I was having a bit of fun in the sun
I put my foot down on a nice open road and I was very pleasantly surprised how it shifted.
After clogging it for a bit with a big smile on my face I had too brake.
Upon the sudden decelerating I got what felt like a misfire then the engine management light came on.
When I switch the car off the engine management light went .
When got home I plug my scanner in and got the following saved codes

I have done a bit of googling and the results are a little vague
I drove it today with no problem
I was wondering if anyone could cast a little light on the codes and should I be concerned
Thanks

Looks like it wants to grass you up for speeding the next time you take it for an MOT!

I’m sure one of the real experts will give you a proper answer.

All with in the law in a National speed limit zone.
I can't afford any points with increasing insurance costs on my other car.

It's automatic gearbox error code. Bit of slippage going on in there. I think it's monitoring input shaft speed in relation to output and things don't add up if a gear is slipping. Maybe something needs looking at or maybe you were just giving the old box more beans than it knew what to do with.

Within the National Speed Limit? I doubt it.

Tony.

Thank you
It was the first time I drove it as a sports car in sport not Economy mode unit a young deer jumped into the road and had to brake quickly.
I will keep an eye on it
