Looking at the guys which obviously abused a lot of alcohol , drugs and other "poisons" and still OK at a nice age nowadays (Black Sabbath, Rolling Stones ...), I would say that is not the above abuse who's killing us, but the stress of a life when doing something you don't like to do, for living.

In two weeks Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull will be visiting us. For the good old times sake, I would like to hear his flute again, live for the first time... Hope to find a reasonable price ticket...to not ruin the family's budget....

Well , Sir Ian Anderson was great as expected!
Two hours concert with incredible crystal clear Jethro Tull sound! Flute and cold guitar and Ian Anderson in perfect shape, after 50 years on stage! The assistance was also grey hair and the performance was high standard old school lights and sound. Nothing compares with the music composed and played on live instruments! A real joy, for 2 hours, with professional presentation. 
What a difference comparing with nowadays s...t music (rap, hip hop, etc) made on computer and played on computer...
The meeting with the man who brought the flute in the rock music, playing standing in one leg , was awesome!
