It's a drinking glass with a moderately thick stem and a shallow bowl used for cocktails or champagne.

It definitely feels you sit on a Z3 and in a Z4I’m not sure the Z3 seating position is any higher than the Z4’s myself. In both cars you’re basically sat on the floor. But the top of a Z4’s bonnet and doors are a fair bit higher compared to a Z3. I think this gives the perception of the Z4 being more cocooned/lower and the Z3 being more exposed/higher.
Thinking about the definition of a roadster got me thinking about the definition of a coupe. Anyone gonna bite?![]()

Yep - that one is a Coupe for sureDon’t need definingView attachment 163489 just a pic says it all.
That looks like a Coupe @Rha, unlike the earlier 'van'.![]()
One of the reasons I love the Z3 over the Z4, it is one of the last classic styled sportscars. All the current crop, Merc SLK, Audi TT and Z4 have that high sided claustrophobic look. When I first bought it it felt huge after my old Spitfires and GT6. It also has less unneccessary technology. It definitely feels you sit on a Z3 and in a Z4
That's the problem nowadays but I don't buy a car for safety, I buy it to enjoy it.You're right there @mwpe , I much prefer a sportscar that dips along the door. Loved the TR2, 3 models for that, but of course with safety in mind and door airbags you can see why they don't do that now.
I had just been going from the way my knees complain more about getting out of the Z4 than the Z3, but I have now measured it. With the seats in my driving position, the front edge of the Z4 seat is about an inch and a half lower than the Z3 seat and the top of the door sill is pretty much the same height (measuring from the ground). I think my Z4 sits a bit lower than my Z3 overall though and if I could I would put the Z3 seat a bit further back which would even it up a bit more.I’m not sure the Z3 seating position is any higher than the Z4’s myself. That's why i like my Tom Tom, it tells me which way the road goesThat's something that can definitely feel unnerving, going over the brow of a hill in my Z4 all I can see is the bonnet and sky which is awkward if the road turns immediately after the brow of the hill.![]()
