Has anyone tried the emiata rear window. I have seen mixed reviews and I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with it, good or bad.

I haven't tried an emiata window, but one (dark) from Ebay Germany. It's not a 15 minute job what the website states I can tell you...

There is an Emiata rear window in my 2.0 L Z3. Don't know how old it is but it is still in good shape. The clear plastic is thicker than the other replacement windows, so it will last longer. I'l buy another one in the future.

Is it a zip in window? I ask because I found no one that sold a zip in window but BMW. All aftermarket hoods/tops are sewn in, at least everyone I've contacted and that's a lot. JIM

That's very interesting @Murray Wall I wonder just how many people have paid to have a new hood installed when they could have gotten an alternate to the German window. I know that buying a new hood there may not be any sellers installing zip in windows,I haven't found any, makes me wonder why? JIM
