'98 1.9 Auto
Looking to replace worn switches on `98 1.9. They still function ok but look shabby. Usual ridiculous price from dealer but too good to be true prices on ebay. Part number 61311387916 (I think). Has anybody else any experience of replacing these. Cheers.
 
If they are the same as the facelift ones, I happen to have a spare set of window switches in great condition. They don't have a PN stamped on them so no idea if they are correct or not.

You can have them for a donation to sites MNDA collection if the are of use to you.

Picture of switches - not the best of days for taking photos. Arrow has holed on passenger side - thought driver's would have had more wear - maybe they have been switched (ugh!) in the past. Difficult to identify actual part number. Car is a Dec '97 build - VIN LD10855.

They look the same as the ones I have. Pm me your address and I'll post them out tomorrow.

If they aren't any use, pass them on to whoever else may need them ;)

Hi Gary,

Switches arrived in this morning's post. Exactly the same as fitted - they have the same number on base 8368941 but as you said not a recognised BMW number.

Now installed and working fine. For info - cover plate on top of switch is also interchangeable if people are into reurbishing spares.
