Don't know how many on here support teams in the lower leagues, but it was nail biting stuff today if your team was involved in a promotion or relegation fight. Made great listenting on 5 Live. Happy to report that Southend United avoided the drop into League 2 by beating Sunderland :D

Notts County the oldest proffesional team in World football relegated out of the Football League :(

It's a magic end to the season from top to bottom in all leagues, exciting stuff

Interesting. How did that come about?

Went up to senior school, and didnt want to join in all the arguments with all the new kids about who supported who in the old Div 1. So bottom of the 4th Div were Oldham and Hartlepool, and it was easier to spell Oldham !

Never got into any arguments

Fair shout

Pity about Notts County. English clubs inspired the world and I think Juventus copied their kit off Notts County. Oh, and Super Rams into the Play offs, can't see them getting much further this year ,but I had a good lunch of too much Abbot Ale in the pub watching today.:beer:beer:beer:beer:beer:D

That they did. Juventus have been know to invite Notts County to there ground for a tour and knock-about.

Best of luck in the play-offs

As I understand it, the fledgling Juventus team used to play in pink. They had an English team member at the time and asked him if he had any sources for kit in the UK. Apparently he had a mate who played for Notts County and had some black & white shirts sent over. The rest is history, as they say

The mighty Wycombe stayed up, so all is good, except my head this morning which took until mid afternoon to feel remotely normal

Mansfield had one job at MK Dons, don't lose and automatic promotion was there's. What did they do? Lost 1-0 so MK took the automatic promotion spot.

At least they are consistent and never fail to disappoint!

I can't stand the game myself but a good mate of mine is a life long supporter of Mansfield, he's told me there was a pitch invasion started by the franchise on Saturday. Bloody shame on em, why can't people just enjoy the game instead of acting like pratts.

Pack mentality mate. Normal bus conductor/ bank clerk/ mechanic etc Monday to Friday then degenerate retards with the IQ of plankton on a Saturday. The minority I might add.

I'm sure the same thing would have happened if Mansfield had won.

Prefer rugby (union). Much more sophisticated.
