I think being a one off 1.9 M it's a steel. I just bid him twice what he's asking, it must be priceless! I'll make millions!

Must of just been pushing his luck @BMBabe ;)

its not rare i have a 1.9 with m badge on gear stick, wondered why all them push bikes could not keep up with me ;)

I started a thread on this very issue some time ago called "What makes me mad". Friggin idiots put a $1 badge on a car and call it a ///M.

For there to be any chance it was an M sport I thought It would need to be post facelift and have sports seats?

I also don't think 97k is low mileage, or orinocco it is fiji green lol

When I first saw the advert I thought that the seats had seat covers on them. Still do. They look very loose.

For all we know he may be naive and was told that by an unscrupulous seller and no one ever set him straight. JIM

Don't you all know that for some the only true M car had a 4pot (e30)....thus this must be just like roadster version of the legend...

...which is only a 'legend' in these parts because over here they never released the 'proper' e30 M cars - the 2.7l 325is and earlier 3.3l 333i that were developed with ACS and Alpina for South Africa to compete in touring cars there.
Drive in one of those and you'll forget all about any notions of 4 pots in 'M cars'!
