I have now done the itn file for day 1 of the Easter Cruise. This has been done using Long and Lat Coordinates and is set as waypoints, so should be no need to alter your device as we drive along. If any one wants the TOMTOM itn file for the Saturday then PM me your email and i will send it you. I will be sorting out the Sunday itn file later on either this or next week.

If there are any others who are interested in this then let me know. If anyone went on the Royal Wedding Cruise last year then you know that this will be just as good. Some excellent roads, scenery and company to boot. So come on lets get some names down.

Hi Bill.... it's looking like family might not be descending on us for the weekend so I might be up for the Saturday (my other half will be watching footy so it will just be me).

What sort of time do you expect to be crossing the M6 near Kendal coz that's probably where I'll head south, after a spot of tea at Sizergh if in time :D

Just put me down as a possible for now, need to double check with everyone, love the look of route.

Hi snoops. When we did this last year we crossed the M6 around 4.30 to 5pm.

Can you put me down as a definate please :-bd

Just looking at the route for a suitable place to join you, I was thinking near Woodhead as I've never been over that way but having just "driven it on Google" I can't find a single stopping point/car park anywhere near where you turn off to go north.

Anyone know anywhere suitable or failing that, where's your 1st stopping point please.

Hi Snoops.
If you are meeting at Woodhead then there is the viewing point which is our first stop for a couple of quick pics, this is just at the top of the A6024 towards holmfirth co-ordinates 53.531562,-1.853699. Or you could meet us at either Marsden or Denshaw. I will ask Mozza if there is anywhere to meet you.

Hi Bill - must do that drive to Woodhead and up the A6024 so I'll meet you all at the viewing point if that's okay?

Is it this one, the one just before it near the mast isn't all that big and the view isn't as good :D
