Dave, from another 2.8 owner. Mine is a 1998, I prefer the pre face (ass) lift version. Would be interested to know your one's full spec.. 2.8s are great for grunt, and also you can potter about with torque to spare. Enjoy it.

running refurb all my own work
towed back from London 2 years ago the zed and me have been in the garage a lot since!
new hood clutch sump gasket and lots more!
