Proposal is for a mid-morning meet-up (somewhere serving coffee/tea etc), then a round trip cruise ending at Burghley House for lunch (in the Orangerie restaurant). After lunch there will be two or three options available at Burghley for afternoon entertainment (including (weather permitting) continuing the EA Crew attack on Mike & Sandy's tea bag hoard with a brew-up with the now famous whistler and gas stove!) - will be posting details of options for consideration a bit later on. There is also the usual option for the Crew to enjoy an evening meal somewhere before we depart for our homes.

At this stage, could you all please post responses to the following:
(a) those happy with lunch in the Orangerie (once we have confirmed numbers I can talk to Burghley re: any need for table reservation etc)
(b) those wishing to have evening meal before departing home (again, when numbers confirmed I can seek suitable venue).

Thanks to all for responses received via posts to this thread and verbally. Will be going forward on basis that all 17 of us are happy with lunch and evening meal and will be looking to book venues for this number of attendees. More a bit later .......

Good another to add to the growing numbers. Might have to find some bigger car parks and pubs soon.

By the way, don't take all that the others say as gospel, you can forget about an Elvis rendition - most of us much prefer new joiners to give us some Roy Orbison hits ;)

Mmm, now that depends - how spirited do the cruises tend to be? If I bring the missus it won't be Left Foot Braking, more like Left EAR Braking :-@

We have cruises not races and it's more about the company rather than spending all day driving at break neck speed.
 
Hi all can we come to ? can make lunch but will have to leave before evening meal as we have to collect dog from friends ! I know a song that will get on your nerves,get on your nerves, get on your nerves, i know a song that will get on your nerves .........
