Had this beaut in the shop for a few weeks, was looking a bit tired when it came in but has now been restored to its former glory, deadline was tight as the guy is using it for his wedding next week, my god its a beast, just raw power, wheels are getting powder coated, he paid 4k for it 5 years ago, worth about 15k now

Not driven one before mate so can't comment, however, time has not been kind to the design IMHO, not a looker for me. Its predecessor however .........

£4000 seems a bloody bargain. My father in law has an P reg e36 coupe in black, totally stock and absolutely immaculate. I don't imagine it has a deal of value though as it's only a 316.
 
The jury still seems to be out on the E36. I remember the shape being a bit of a shock when it replaced the very BMW, very square E30 - the proportions didn't seem quite right, but compared to some of the Bangle era styling I reckon they look bang on....

E36 Prices on the rise what ever the model. Personally think the E46 coupe is the best looking 3

Good to here. He's really looked after it, always garaged and only does a 1000 miles a year. It deserves to be worth a few quid.
