E10 chaos

On the way home from the Scottish run on Monday we stopped off for some much needed cake and coffee in Callander after which I was intending filling up with supreme grade at the Esso station, all supreme empty so had to fill with E10 I asked the lady at the till what the problem was and she told me people are avoiding the E10 and filling with supreme because they don't trust it !!!
 
Yep been happening since it was introduced - our local Shell often sells out of V power now.

TBH dont blame them, why use an inferior product in your car just because its cheaper.

Ask any motor manufacturer to give written confirmation that a car over 4 years old will not have any problems using E10 :cool:
I know of some folks who have done this - differing manufacturers - I'm sure you can guess the answer.
