We've mucked in with the car club before and they have always been welcoming!
Yes Gazza, they did come over to chat and said that we could have joined them, but we weren't approached until we were already set up! We had neatly lined up with the walkway infront, so people could walk along and view us and see the ZORG banner and MNDA bucket, and we had the runway behind us. The BMWCC was out off the way in the middle of the field and mixed in with a lot of other car clubs! They didn't stand out above the marques!
Let's wait and see what happens when we get there!

Just had this email update from the organiser:

SPRING CAR SHOW
Sunday 5 May 2013
Information for Participants

ENTRANCE GATE: Entry will be through Gate 1, which is the nearest one to Royston. Note – this is NOT our main Visitor Entrance.

How to get there:The Museum is just off J10 on the M11. Please follow the yellow ‘Car Club’ signs on the A505, which will lead you to Gate 1.

Opening Times:Gate 1 opens at 0945. The Museum will open at 1000. Please make sure you are in your designated area by 1200. The Museum closes at 1800, and we ask all participants to stay until at least 3pm.

PAYMENT: Payment will be collected by a member of IWM staff at the entrance gate.

Admission rate for Classic Car Owners/car club members: £10.00 per person but children under 16 can go in for free.

Visitors in non-classic cars who want to just look at the cars will need to pay the standard admission rate and enter through the main visitor centre.

DISPLAYING AREA: The event will be held between Wing Co Joe’s Cafe and the Land Warfare Hall. Car parking marshals will help you find your allocated area. Please note that due to inevitable last minute cancellations and changes pitches will be allocated by the marshals on the day.

What time is the convoy leaving the John Barleycorn? :coolsteer) so we know when to meet up to give us time for Brekkie? Had a look at last years do, 'Spitfires, Merlins & Motors' to see what time we met up and ended up looking through the whole thread, enjoying all the great memories and laughs!
We cruised in to the Museum at 10.15am.

Hi there. Is it too late to add another name to list - if I can convince the wife it's an essential calendar entry for a newbie? Still to confirm we are free, but wanted to check first!

Thanks.
