Yes Garry you are correct they were and still are the answer when riding a horse in the wind and rain on those lonesome prairies moving cattle to market( cue harmonica) the Aussies also use them.Is it really Jim? I thought it was a cowboys long canvas coat. I know that they are called "dusters" in fact I've got one somewhere. Not a real one though
And I personally can vouch for that thankfully! JIMRemember Duxford tomorrow

I realize that Gary, but as it was you that made the suggestion I wanted clarification as to where you though that I should make a comment and as it was also you that brought up the issue of those names I was confused. I didn't feel the need to report anything as not everyone on orum may have seen your directive to us. That's all, nothing complicated! JIMJim, If you have any concern that a post made by other members breaks the forum rules then please feel free to use the "Report" button underneath every post.
I (like the rest of the moderation team) don't sit 24 hours a day vetting every post - although that generally happens. We also respond to reports made, and deal with them appropriately. Tagging me specifically to ask a question may not get a quick response as I may be busy. In matters of moderation or concerns over posts, then any of the moderation team can respond on the forums behalf.
Thanks, Gary
No biggy Liam, it's just out of courtesy to Mark as he isn't here any more to respond to things posted about him (even though your comment made me chuckle...)I apologize sincerely. I didn't realise the mention of the Rover 75 would cause affence. It shall not be mentioned again

In all honesty Gaz, I think most, if not all comments about said ex-member are made because we have fond memories. I do appreciate some members don't know who he was though. Liam's remark about the 75 certainly brought a wry smile to my face too.No biggy Liam, it's just out of courtesy to Mark as he isn't here any more to respond to things posted about him (even though your comment made me chuckle...)
