Corn Flakes... they don't have them Dave..:whistle:

Just a thought for the drivers who havn't driven abroad before! There are items that you need to carry in the car in France, some of the items I can think of are: Ins. cert. V5 doc. MOT cert. High viz jacket, GB sticker, Headlamp deflectors, Breathalyser kit, Spare bulbs. And its an offence to have a speed camera detector even if its built into your satnav, (Possible 1500 euro fine) How this will effect the group leaders with their satnavs I'm unsure?
Not sure if that's everything but others may know of more?
Excuse me if I am stating the bleeding obvious. :sorry:

The Tomtoms and Garmin all got upgraded to delet the cameras and now run on dangerous zones, this only gives the area the camera is at and will also highlight schools. As for the Hi vis you need to carry one for each passenger.

Not too sure about light bulb kit anymore. Some (French) cars you have to bloody dismantle to fit headlight bulbs so how you're supposed to do that at the road side I have no idea.

Tony.

As for the Hi vis you need to carry one for each passenger.
Also they need to be in the cabin with you and not in the boot. You're supposed to put them on before getting out of your car.

You'll love it Gary. We love driving through France. I've been through Holland, Belgium and Germany once about 25 years ago.

Any one got any idea what the weather will be like and whether or not we'll need warm clothing? If it's just jeans and jumper that's ideal

The forecast at the moment is quite warm, low 70's F
Right now you will feel as home: morning 12C, noon 18C and suddenly rains from nowhere and stops in the same way and sun shines! But at the time of the meeting temp should be as simmer: 28C! Looking forward to it!
