Exactly my friend. We claim to speak the English language yet use slang and rhyming slang that many can't understand. Phil the Greek is Duke of Edinburgh. 'avin a giraffe = having a laugh.
Trouble and strike = wife
Bin kids = kids
Rosie Lee = Tea

My next door neighbours (neighbors) both here and in Spain are Yanks married to Englishmen so I hear these conversations constantly.:D

I was telling someone about my channel the other day and they had to ask if "zed" meant the letter or it was spelled out. For the record, it's Red Zed Adventures. If I made it "Red Z Adventures" Americans would pronounce it wrong, and lose the rhyme, and the "Red Dead Redemption" echo.

By the way, I am in Canada.

Well, I'm not sure. Better than 50% of my fellow Hoosiers voted for Dumpski Trumpski. Myself EXCLUDED!!
I forwarded this thread to my best friend and he shamed me a bit for saying "dumb". Should have said "inquiring minds want to know". BTW, he was the one that actually started this ZED/ZEE thing.
