.....motor appears knackered. Sure I've seen somewhere that the motor can be manually operated. If so, what size of allan key is need? Mines is raised and I'm wanting it lowered.
The back and forwards motor is accessible, but the up down will most likely need the seat out. Lee has spare motors from a set of seats he took apart when scrapping.

I know the front motors drive a spindle with square ends on them, so I'd guess similar to that for the up/down motor. You can see what I mean by the last picture on this article.
I thought the motor to be knackered for the same reason on the sports seats i brought. The up down motion is on a screw and it was just stuck unbolted from the motor it was fine. Freed it up an worked just fine. You will need to remove it though to gain access but an easy job.
