Just back from the perfect holiday, to Lake Garda via the Stelvio and back via St Gotthard Furka, Grimsel and Susten passes. The Zed never missed a beat, 2,435 miles and average of 31 mpg, including traffic jams 100 MPH autobahn and general cruising.

It certainly was a great time. I would recommend this trip to everyone. I took my daughter as interpreter as she is fluent in French, German and Italian. 3 languages in one day is too much for me

That is a fabulous trip and the passes are awesome in a cruiser like a Z3. Done the same couple of years back and want to
do it again some day.

We have done very similar with zedwheels and mozza 2 years ago, great roads and scenery. Me and Mozza are doing it again in a weeks time

Thanks for sharing. Some cracking pics. We're off to France next weekend. We were due to go in the zed but due to my operations recently we've decided to go in the Saab for comfort. Won't be the same but still a holiday in France so I'll still be grinning!

Great photos, we're doing similar in a weeks time down to Lake Como...

Make sure you get to the Stelvio early. We got there about 9 o'clock and it was fine but an hour later it was busy with bikers cyclists and the odd coach.
