Door mounted drinks holder Z3

has anyone tried a door mounted drinks holder in the Z3. There is no OEM option but I've seen a few aftermarket generic ones but wondering what they are like or if anyone has tried some.

I don't get on with having the drinks holder on the centre console.

These are nice and I nearly got one but have a 'driver's' Z3 (manual) and just don't like having the drink in the way of the elbow. Maybe I'm a bit Orangutan like!

now that's interesting, and one piece metal too, no plastic to snap.

At the very end he talks about using a trainer wedged under the seat, height tops of course. I actually think that is a brilliant idea and space saving too!

The Fischer fold away one is neat too and a proper German made item for big manufacturers.

I've emailed him as he mentions a new universal version for Z3's. Will post an update when I get one re price and shipping and pic.
