Last Wednesday on my way to Bolton for some more Carrs Pasties I inadvertently got lost and ended up here?
Now I realise that the photos are crap but as I was taking the second one I felt heavy breathing on the top of my head? Turning around I found myself strangely looking at the breast pocket of a white shirt displaying a BMW emblem on it. I looked up and staring down at me was a head bigger than I've ever seen and in a voice very similar to Arnold Schwarzenegger he said "what are you doing?"..... In a voice identical to a wimp in fear of his life I started to babble about getting lost near Wigan and wanting to drive around Silverstone or somewhere or in fact anywhere. The same deep voice just said "give me your phone and come with me".
To cut a long story short clenching my buttocks together tight enough to hurt I obeyed and blindly followed him. It appears that I had chosen a day when BMW were testing a lot.......a lot of future cars. The new Z4 was there along with the new 8 series and a new concept M1? As I walked passed all these cars that were all adorned with stupid bits of fiberglass stuck in stupid places to disguise the shape of the models and zebra coloured paint seemed to be the order of the day the voice said "what car have you got?" I had an urge to say "Fiat Unto" but I gave in and said Z4.........
I got a guided tour of the buildings and then the man and some of his colleagues took me around the track in what I think was a 7 Series thing that seemed to be faster than my Z4?
Needles to say Carrs Pasties are now definitely off the menu?
