Event Donington Park- ZCARS Round 5 - 29th September- Parade Lap confirmed

We have been allocated an Z owners space next to the Z Car paddock, and at the moment it is looking likely that we will have a parade lap during the lunch break TBC.

This is obviously very dependent on whether and the event running on time.

It’s the lap info I’m interested in so is this definitely confirmed or are you awaiting 100% confirmation Stacey?

Will not be 100% as can be cancelled at the last minute if race schedules don't go to time, Red flags etc so never a definite but if it does happen it will be awesome.

If it wasn't for Donnington i would be going to the Newstead Abbey show. The thing really that sways me is i have done Thoresby twice along with other shows of similar format. All are enjoyable days but the Race days are something different.
The chance to be part of the activities around the race team
Being close and personal to the rest of the paddock
Chance to show off our cars at a slightly different arena
Feeling part of the whole Zcars developement
And if it happens the chance to do a lap of Donnington
Having done Cadwell and Silverstone would be another track to add to my I've done it list.
 
You've convinced me Paul, so Newstead will have to wait until next year! Haven't driven round a track for ages, last one was about ten years ago. Did some laps at the little Darley Moor motorcycle track near Ashbourne in my Mazda MX6. Good fun! Many years ago,must have been about 1971, I did a couple of laps of the old Silverstone GP circuit (Proper 90 degree Woodcote Corner) in my Triumph GT6 Mk 3. Awsome!
