It's a good weather day, you've got your Zeds hood down and you're off to the local shop or supermarket in town, stately home or park, pub or restaurant, etc. So when leaving your car, do you run the risk of bird s**t / yobs / rain etc, and leave your top down and for how long? Or are you a top up no matter what?

Leave it down, just don't leave anything in view worth nicking. A bit of bird s***, so what, it'll clean up easily enough. I know.

Tony.

It depends where we are and how long we're going to be :p
If I'm quick in a shop I leave the roof down :)
But if I know I'm going to be long I put it up ;)

It entirely depends on how I'm feeling, how long I'm stopping and where.

Almost got caught out at Weston Super Mare last weekend, but arrived back about 20 seconds after the heavens opened - the interior soon dried off once the roof was dropped later. @Lee was slightly further away and if it wasn't for his dads quick thinking and a picnic blanket he would have been driving home up to his ankles in water

Depends where I am but generally out of sight - then up. Sadly there are far too many ****heads around to risk it. I was going to say don't worry about the birds but they're as bad as the blokes these days ;)

How do you catch him to wipe his bum ? =))

Down all the time unless raining. Got caught at 3am in a sudden cloud burst that woke me and soaked me through before I could get the top up and covered. Stopped raining as I walked back to the house to change clothes!! JIM

As I started this I thought I had better give my answer - depends where I am parked, and how busy it is. But its definitely top up if I am away for more than ten minutes.

On Friday I had to call in at a village on my way home from work to drop an envelope(stuffed with cash) through the letter box of the florists where I bought my "Get out of jail" flowers over the phone. As I was going to the shop next door to purchase an Anniversary card, I left the top down, but made sure there was nothing to tempt anyone in sight, also I put the windows up just to be sure.

Tony.
