DIY: Adding Bluetooth to the original BMW radio — BlueMusic installation

Hi everyone!

I recently installed a BlueMusic Bluetooth adapter in my BMW Z4 E89 and decided to record the whole process in case it helps anyone else looking to add Bluetooth while keeping the original BMW radio.

The installation is completely plug & play:

• No wire cutting
• No coding
• Keeps the original BMW radio
• Steering wheel controls continue to work
• Bluetooth audio for Spotify, YouTube Music, etc.

I made a step-by-step video showing the complete installation, from removing the radio and connecting the module to pairing the phone and selecting AUX on the radio.
