Yep all bright and fresh today until my load went over again! I won't say on here what I have said to my manager as it may offend!!

I've been fighting for months to get the height of the loads reduced but no one gives a toss.

And they won't Dave until someone gets hurt and/or it costs the company some serious money mate.

Tony.

Goods look damaged to me, that should cost them?
Obviously not enough Mike if this keeps happening, and if they manufacture their own product it's even less!

Tony.

Yep they were damaged and I told the customer to reject it on both unsafe and damaged load but they said they were desperate for the stock so accepted it!
Your right Tony it's going to take something major to happen before anyone listens and cost is minimal as it is made by us and it's all recycled product we've already sent out to customers and is sent back through our scrap service.

Always had you down as a closet gippo....:D
T***! Just had a right barney in the yard with my gaffer. Don't think I'm flavour of the month now!:mad:

Don't get your ass fired Grumps, as I have said before, driver is responsible for his load and the way it has been loaded.....
Yep your right mate but they push harder and harder to get more on the trucks and out the gate. Health and safety goes out the window. These things way a tonne mate and if they go right over would kill. I've told him straight if I come into a load like that again it stays put.

Worst one I have ever seen was a crane falling off a low loader, it landed on a cycle path, killed someone on their bike.
And I learnt my lesson years ago, doing someone a favor, I was driving a large pick up truck loaded with scaffolding (not loaded by me)
Came off the motorway and was in town, in traffic, driving slowly, went over a hump and heard to 'pings'.
The ratchet straps had come loose.....nothing fell off though.

I quickly parked up and sat there, white as a ghost and sweating, thinking, what would have happened if I had still been on the motorway?......
