Dirty headlamp lens

Hi guys
Can the plastic outer headlamp lens be easily removed to clean inside the unit .? Will it need resealing ?
My vehicle is a 2002 Japanese import Z3 2.2

I opened 2 pairs of headlights lately. Had them in the oven at 80 °C for about 15 minutes, absolutely no problems, I had the feeling that they could endure even higher temperatures without problems.

I scraped out the old glue and used some fresh butyl cord so they should be even easier to open next time.
