Different view of Peak District

Couple of pics of Mam Tor from a different angle.
The children bought us a helicopter ride as an Xmas pressy and we went on it on Friday. Out from near Buxton to the Derwent Dams and back over Kinder, Mam Tor and Castleton. We could see to Manchester one way and cooling towers near East Midlands Airport the other. Really good day out and the zed behaved itself.

Fantastic mate, wouldn't get me in one but I do envy you for just how good it must have looked from up there.

Got to have two gas turbines but, when you get past the moment that you’re about to plunge out of the sky and in to oblivion then its a great experience.

Hope you did the Dambusters when you flew over the Derwent Dam?
