At 56 years, old enough to know better too.

Tony.

I would love to know what they thought they could charge him with.
Judging by the look of the place, I can't see he has done any more damage than was there before. The shop with the camera inside was flooded before his bow wave push the door open.

Literally the sixth line of the article 😁

"A 57-year-old was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and dangerous driving and released on bail while inquiries continue, police said."

I didn't read it; just looked at the pretty pictures.:D

Saw that Tony, wondered if they would arrest anyone.

Will be interesting on the sentencing if found guilty ( which he probably will )

Everything was already damaged. But it's just the principal of it. People are there crying over the loss of their property and some knobhead comes through the street showing off how big his tractor is.

I live in Shropshire so it was big news round here. It wasn’t just the shop seen on CCTV, the impact from the wave smashed some shop windows that were otherwise holding the water back.
What tosser

Not condoning his actions but the way things are going with this new style of government he’ll likely get life with no parole!

Agree, total knobhead , utterly devastating for those that have to return to those properties when the waters subside.

Probably couldn't see where he was going with all the tears in his eyes from the government closing his tax-avoidance loophole. Must be a bu**er having to live under the same conditions as the rest of us.

Yup. I can't pass my business down to kids without paying crazy tax so why should farmers be treated different.

So I've decided to blow the lot on holidays... er I mean business trips... and a garage full of company zed's - hmrc, stick that in yer pipe and smoke it.
