Chip of the old grumps
There is something tragic about breaking a faithful old favourite mug. All those shared experiences, but some are even priceless momentos!
Having bought a Volvo 1800S off Wheeler Dealers back in 2010, I came across Mike Brewer and Edd China at the NEC Classic Car Show. I spoke to Mike’s lovely wife on the stand and got the chaps to sign a Wheeler Dealers mug. Perfect!
Back home I gave special instructions that it should never go in the dishwasher but be lovingly washed by hand. Later that same day ........
