I was looking at the forum about doing a detango

can you just take out the orange lens out or do you have to put in the clear deflector in ?

i see in the post that dg8jka made and it looks like they have just been removed

Yep, just take them out. Switch the amber bulbs for the chromed ones and bob is your proverbial uncle.

You could fit clear lenses IF you can locate any, but I personally think they look better without - as proven by @g8jka

Yes they have the lenses taken out. Now have clear lenses in them I found a set with them already in and sold the set above a while back.

Is there any light difference with the clear lens in compared to it out?

Never noticed any difference really

now to get my halos

need to fit my rear discs first.
