What have you been buying?

Nope, an even more terrifying venture: paint correction.

I definitely would not start so course as there is no need to, start with your finest 2500 and finish with 3000, it will make life an awful lot easier and the results will be the same

You are also going to need some serious polishing power, I did an M5 today and used an 8" rotary, I only had to flat the boot lid and the whole job took 4-5 hours. That was a full polish on the whole car.

Arm ache???

Get used to it pal, however I do find that I grip the polisher way to tight and have to force myself relax.
I know that feeling Sean, maybe something to do with the size of the machine. When you're actually using one it carries it's own weight on the buffing pad up to a point and you find you can relax a little.

Tony.

Thats right mate, on flat surfaces all you have to do is guide it in the direction you want it to go and its almost finger tip stuff

Why have you got sooooo much stuff. I only use 3 bottles and 4 pads to polish. 1 bottle of sealant. 1 tub of wax. Then 2 bottles for the roof. 1 bottle for plasctics and engine bay. 1 tub of sealant for wheels, 2 bottles for leather interior and 1 bottle for the glass oooh and a bottle for quick detailing.
Ooooohh i think thats about as much as what is in your photo =))
