Great - I'd like to see them then..
Barry
I bought this from the same seller for my Mazda about 9 years ago, this was a chrome decal over a red light unit.

I didn't get one for my Z3 (Facelift) but last year when I got my Z4 it needed a new light unit so I decided to by a "clear" one instead of the original red one.

With the clear one the decal shows up well when lit up.

Very cool I think... Surprised more people haven't taken up that sticker...
Being a sticker though, it's probably susceptible to peeling eventually ??

Decal arrived safely, thanks @t-tony

Do you have any application instructions/tips?
Hi David, I will post the ones that came with them a little later.

DECAL - FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

img085.jpg

Hope you all get your decals fitted satisfactorily, please post some pictures. One extra tip I used when I fitted mine on my Mazda was where you could see a little of the red light showing round the outside I applied a bit of gloss black paint with an artists brush.

I think I will go down the Black Plastidip route, as a less 'permanent' option, if I have this issue.

I'm surprised this isn't an apply when wet decal, given the precision required for correct placement?

I use a very weak spray of one drop of washing up liquid to100ml of water when fitting decals etc. allows for repositioning, and so long as the backing stays firmly in place you wont stretch the decal. Just takes time and patience mate.

No problem Tony. I shall put a night time one on later so that others can see what they are like on the Z3. Nice packaging job by the way.
