I’ve got this symbol come up on my dash today , it’s only their for a few minutes , before I set off , then when I stop the Z and start it again, it pops up .
Is it just telling me that in a few weeks my Z will need a service

Depending on model year, I think the service light is the one with the £££ symbol on it, or it could be a pair of hands rubbing together

I’ll phone the garage tomorrow and get it in for a service

Intermittent "car on lift" but no other lights?

So I'm not using my car much these days, but I'd say 80% of the time I do, turning on the ignition yields a *bong* and the yellow "car on ramp" symbol. I used to assume this meant service due, but scrolling through the various things, nothing is actually needed. The symbol appears under check...

Yes it is a service or inspection coming up. There is another menu item (under about the car???) that tells you details of the various service items. Might be a little more information there.

If it isn't MoT then almost likely to be a service or inspection - Can't recall how old your car is, but, when the end of warranty inspection is due you get the same message. I'm guessing an oil change or possibly brake fluid change - that can get out of step with other things especially if it was serviced before you took possession of the car.

I’m going to take my Z to the garage with the service book on Thursday
The garage is on the way to Asda , then I don’t have to make a extra journey, as I’ll do my shopping at the same time
