Can't knock darts, if it wasn't for darts then there'd have been no "Bullseye" and the British speedboat industry would have finished a lot sooner.

Have a look at what you could've won...

Check out what the chunky darts player actually won! Haha Richard's trousers go down well in launderettes!

=)):woot: oh the shame, I used to love that show :arghh:

Jim Bowen's dead pan delivery made that show although Tony Green's " Iiiiiin One " etc. was good. Corny? yeah, entertaining? definitely.

FINAL

PDC World Darts Championship:

Michael van Gerwen posted the highest average in PDC World Darts Championship history to defeat Raymond van Barneveld and book a meeting in Monday's final with defending champion Gary Anderson.

Fellow Dutchman Van Barneveld himself posted 109.34, but still lost 6-2.

Rob Cross ended Michael van Gerwen's title defence in an Alexandra Palace classic to book a William Hill World Darts Championship final date with Phil Taylor.

Goodbye Dutch lads .... :(

Fairy-Tayl Triumph For Cross

ROB CROSS produced the performance of his life to win the William Hill World Darts Championship with an incredible 7-2 win over Phil Taylor, as the legendary Stoke thrower ended his career in defeat at Alexandra Palace.

Taylor had been bidding to win a 17th World Championship title to end the sport's most successful career in a blaze of glory as he prepares to move into retirement.

"I feel great, but I've got to say it's Phil's last year - I've won my first World Championship but it's about him departing and that's why I let him lift the trophy with me," said Cross.

Who is now £400,000 richer....

The £400,000 prize money which Cross took as champion means that he has risen to third on the PDC Order of Merit, incredibly achieving the feat inside 12 months on a two-year ranking list.

Some great arrows this year and didn't see the final result coming, the lads done well.

Thanks Phil.
As Rob Cross took control with what looked like no way back for Taylor, decided to pop a couple of bob in the bandit, now £100 better off going towards my Wheel re furb fund, so every time i clean my soon to be fettled wheels will think of Phil,
May even have "the Power" stencilled on the wheels (well probably not) ;)

I once heard them referred to as "athletes"....
=)) :drinks:
That was the late Syd Widdell The commentator. He used to get a bit excited bless him.
