Daily Driver No More

Congrats and welcome from another recent retiree, never had a dull moment since May and the list of things to do gets longer.
Shhh. Don’t talk about lists of things to do! Should it exist, it probably stretches in to next year already.
I’m firmly trying to deny that anything needs to be done :D
Somebody else likes lists though. @Grumps ;)
=))

That is excellent that you can both enjoy your retirement together, I have just over 2 years before I can get my hands on my pension, I will probably go part time as I love my job

Congratulations to the pair of you, hope it all works out well.
At the other end of the spectrum I'm now 61 and just started retraining in another 2 disciplines. I'm going to carry on till I drop, and hopefully it wont be for a while yet

Congratulations to you two, welcome to the club. Lists are fine @Redline ….as long as there are no timescales attached:thumbsup:.
Soon you won't know what day of the week it is let alone the date=))

You’ve obviously not heard of SMART. Some smart Alec will append at least one, and maybe several if not all to any list :mad:=))
Now, an unstructured group of notes used as an aide memoir written on beer mats and then used to steady a wonky table - I can live with that.

...You’ve obviously not heard of SMART...
Ohh that takes me back Ian, I remember that mnemonic, Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and yes Timely. Something to do with setting objectives in job descriptions and, in my field, training courses.
Beer mat lists are fine or the sort of who is attending Zorg events:thumbsup:

This retirement lark is all very enjoyable, but now I don't get the weekends off!.......

:drinks:

You can do it yourself Ian!

Congratulations. Great feeling isn't it?
The day after I turned my badge in, mrsW gave me a 'to do' list that would have filled both sides of a toilet roll. Just over a year later, I'm about 2 sheets in. The zed's looking good though....:D

I'm about 30 years from being able to do that... :(

Congrats Gail enjoy. :):):)
