Now that looks very nice,

Well it almost fit first try, needs a bit taken off on the edges to go in a little further at the bottom. So my mangled bumper is repaired, and I think the grille will look OK once its painted, It all looks a bit bland ATM being primer grey..

Are you painting it satin black Shawn? Looks very nice.

Tony.

Thanks Tony, I think black would probably look best, hammer finish could be the go...

It,s strong, I dropped it and it bounced.

Ta Da, finished, It has the look I was chasing. I,m very happy with it.. Total cost in materials less than $100.00. Time spent @ $75.00 per hour $2100.00.

I am half tempted to put a small fin over the front of the fog lights in line with the top one of the grille..similar in design..

Anyway thankyou all for your encouragement.. It is appreciated..:beer

Just caught up with this project, it looks brilliant. Great job:thumbsup:

Rough idea of the shape of the blades, out of cardboard. They are going to be a little fiddly to get right, but I think you may see what I am aiming for.. I will switch out the bulbs for LED,s while Im at it..And convert to driving lights, as fog lights are not really useful where I live..

I decided against just painting the cardboard, and "job done" =))

Cardboard translated to blades, this time its high density balsa, due to the thin sections..2 pairs..

Fiddly little F,ers...;)

The grill looks great. The fog light covers will go nicely I think. Just out of curiosity, what was the driver (no pun intended) for this project? Just wanted a different look?
