Are these any good?
If I'm buying I always go bosch or mann but the car came with a Crosland fuel filter and oil filter.
Is the fuel filter worth fitting?
I have a Mann oil filter I'm putting on when I change the engine oil

Not had any experience with that brand, like you it tends to be Mann.
Do fuel filters have a life expectancy? £20 may be wasted changing it. But then again I don't want to fit a sub standard part to throw up some unwanted problems

There's nothing wrong with Crosland Filters, I've used them for years. Just fitted a Crosland oil filter and air filter prior to the Euro trip

I may be wrong but was told by a rep for a major motor factors that euro car parts bought the crosland name and they are now made abroad and as such the quality is no longer there, as I say I may be wrong. I always used Crosland with confidence but do not now.

I'm guessing this rep doesn't work for ECP then! ;) You can't beleive all that parts reps tell you, sometimes they're like MP's , economical with the truth, especially when selling their brand(s).

Tony.

How many car parts do you think are actually still made in the UK then? Not as many as we would all like to think!!
And even Bosch filters aren't all made in Germany.
