Roof down, can't hear it, radio on, can't hear it but tonight with roof up and no music, doing the first outing for a few weeks and small but noticeable ticks and squeals from the dashboard. Nothing major and sounds like the dash flexing, plastic on plastic.

I'm going to spray a bit of Mr Sheen hear and there unless anybody has a better suggestion?

PS: Just realised I have some silicon spray????

Mine does that
Unfortunately being a softop, to much flex
I think polish would make it worse, silicone might be the answer
Cold weather makes it a lot worse

When mine sqeaks i have nightmare's of mice :D

put the heater on before you go out and see if the noise goes

Sounds like the start of the Front Bulk Head Fire Wall weld popping issue.........

Not to find a squeak although there were no squeaks when I put it all back to together and I never found the 5p :)

The full story is HERE

Having done mine I went over to Cheshire to help another member who had bought new leather dashboard pods and we got his done in a day.

There is nothing made from wood in there either, leaves me a little stumped, therefore it only means it must be the infamous spotless spot weld problem that affects all Z3 from March 98 to late winter 2007.........

Can't be my problem then. Mines a Spring 2009 build when they reverted back to the pre-facelift bodyshape... :-h
