After working hard all day yesterday in the garden with much help from Gary, Abz and Andy plus the grandkids I was well ready for my Sunday night treat from the Mandarin at Saxilby. When I go there I go just past the shop then turn round in the next road end to park near the shop. Well, last night some idiot had the affrontary to be crossing the road end on foot and I had to stop, no problem, well apparently it upset the TO55ER on a bike behind me, he even lifted his visor to shout at me, Was I supposed to run over the pedestrian just so I didn't hold up the biker? I politely suggested he go forth and multiply.

When I left Saxilby, reaching the dizzy speed of 12 MPH behind a Massey-Ferguson combined harvester we eventually got out of the 50 MPH limit and I saw another bike behind me, so when the road ahead was clear I signalled that I was aware he was there with a couple of flashes of my left hand indicator and he came past, boy did he come past (about 2.00 minutes in).

About 1/4 mile further up the road he slapped the front wheel back down and turned sharp left down Doddington Road to Lincoln. What a plank!!
Tony.
