For a diy zip in job, Art Munster Design (AMD) screens from Germany on EBay are spot on. A couple of hours job, as long as the half of the zip that is sewn into the hood is in fine fettle.

I purchased the ADM window only to find that not only the stitching but also the zipper cloth was rotted so was useless to me. Not a major problem as I bought a different colour hood which was already in my plans! So carefully check the cloth before purchasing!! JIM

you can get patches for them, dont know how long they last though
