Hubby has been to his first international event, qualifying for the World Speed Kitesurfing Championships in the Camarague, representing GB - it is a huge achievment getting there as there were only 40 places available - up against the best he finished 24th overall, although he had daily placings of 12th, 13th 19th and a couple of others which i cant remember. He is dissappointed he didnt finish overall in the top 20 but his world ranking will have moved up alot.

The guy on .net got back to me and, because he hadn't had a single call from the forum folk, he put 'um on ebay and they went ballistic apparently!

That's a shame - you must have only just missed those.

Keep your eye on the threads though - you never know if someone else has to drop out they would probably post them on the forum first.

There are some for sale on EBay though - have you seen them?? Although none of them look like they include the infield parking etc. at least you'd get to the event
