Is that why your in Cumbria now!I was born in Morton-in-Marsh, very up market and oldy worldy area. No riff raff allowed
Pride of place right out front! Right next to a bright luminous green Caterham! Maybe they were trying to hide one of the two
Indeed Dave. We lived in Blockley a couple of miles up the road, far to poor (then and now) to live in any of the Cotswold villagesIs that why your in Cumbria now!
Thanks everyone for a great day....even if it did go a bit awry after Bourton-on-the-Water. After Lee kindly took the group further up the Fosse Way than intended we opted to continue as that was our route home anyway.
Is Zorgee Bear coming to the Lakes? Nice pics, weather looked good too.
The weather was sunny in the morning @Andy McDonnell but there was a cold wind and then it clouded over.
I'm sure Zorgeee bear will make it to the Lakes. The Mints have him now and we'll be looking for the next chaperone at the Derbyshire cruise in two weeks time.

Great photos to look back on a wonderful day
A few more pics - 18 cars I think there were today including a potential new member who came along having seen details of the cruise.
Running up the flag on occasion of arrival at the starting point at Toddington Station.
A couple of line ups - not everyone had arrived for the first one I think.
Zorgie Bear moves on to a new carer for a few weeks. Sadly @Mrs Mint is hidden from view :-(
@Lee's 3.0si Coupe and my filthy 3.0si Roadster side by side. Lees car sitting about an inch lower on its new suspension.
For those fretting about how many days till.... - you know who you are - this was hanging in the door of the Christmas shop in Bourton on the Water.
And here's the newly clothed Zorgie having a little nap in @Mint's car. Several of us were wanting to join him for forty winks by early afternoon.

dont know why it has posted them twice though. a great day, inc the moment both me and low rider sat for about 10 min waiting for everyone else and no one came.
Thanks to Jason for organising today! Not really sure what happened mid route, all got a little chaotic with Zeds heading off in literally every direction imaginable. I heard someone made it to Wales at one point...

All the cars were as usual in tip top condition, although a few members looked a little worse for wear... A small gathering of the southern contingent ready to cruise up to the Cotswolds. Including this strange fellow!

When we arrived, lots of old faces and a few new too. Always nice to see a factory Alpine White Zed, so very rare to see them!

Great roads and scenery,those little villages with the chocolate box cottages and quaint houses were lovely.
I agree with @Low Rider it should become an annual event.
Thanks to everyone for welcoming Ben my father-in-law who is over here from Brittany for a week,he enjoyed the day also.

Looks like you've all had a good day. So who started the do it yourself route then? The idea is that you follow the person who sets the run up! . We'd have loved to have been there but with the Derbyshire cruise so close we had already committed to that.

Great to see you again MikeA great day out Jason, thanks for organising it.I haven't been to that area for years and it was great seeing it again and meeting up with a great crowd.
It was lovely to meet everyone today, we really enjoyed the day and the company of all you lovely people. Special thanks to Jason @littlefeller for organising a great day.
